After selecting your vendors and submitting your (often non-refundable) deposits, you should consider a Private Event Cancellation Policy to protect your investment. This Policy can protect you against certain types of financial losses you may incur in the event of unpredictable situations during the period leading up to and including your event day.

Event Photographs/Video

Please note that the Private Event Cancellation Policy is limited to the specific policy levels above. The options available are set and cannot be altered. The Private Event Cancellation Policy has a nominal $25.00 deductible for each covered section.
You should purchase event insurance as soon as you start putting down deposits on your event attire, reserving your venue, etc. because you become financially responsible at this point. The Private Event Cancellation Policy can be purchased up to 15 days prior to the event day, but cannot be purchased earlier than 24 months prior to the event day. Coverage commences on the date of purchase and extends to the completion of the event.

How to determine which policy is right for you?
Review the respective coverage limits for policy levels on the table above and select the policy level that is appropriate to your event, taking into account the following two important factors:
- The amount of your total event budget including your financial obligations and non-refundable deposits in the event you must cancel or postpone your event due to a covered reason.
- The amount of your expenses for each of the covered sections, to determine whether a higher policy level is desirable to provide sufficient coverage for a particular covered section (e.g., special attire).
